Hi everyone!

This weekend I'm away from my studio in Berlin and spending the weekend in Bonn!

I'm here to prepare for the group exhibition "Lebensweisen" at Update Gallery.

I took the early train on Friday morning and I have been spending some time around the altstadt (old town) of Bonn. It's my first time here and so far I find the cozy cultural town very comforting. As I strolled down the streets, I found so much charm in the architecture and the shop designs of the neighborhood. It's a very different vibe as to Berlin, but the retro charm of the city has definitely inspired me. Unfortunately, I haven't been strolling outside much during the daylight, so didn't have much time to capture some shots of the cozy town. Hope to get around to it in the next few days :)

So yesterday and today, I spent my time in the gallery preparing for the show. My husband, Ken, is also an artist participating in this show along with Suat Sensoy. I have some new works up for show and am really excited for the opening tomorrow. As I'm writing this, I am actually sitting in middle of the gallery now surrounded by works of different artists. It's always a great experience to feel the atmosphere of the combination of artworks. Feeling the harmony of artworks is very inspiring, and makes me see things beyond explanation. For this show, I'm already feeling a very positive harmony :) I really hope it's sunny tomorrow!!
